Phil and John have over 50 year’s combined experience in the residential building industry.
They are passionate about building in new ways to produce quality homes, more quickly and affordably. Hence, John and Phil joined together in late 2020 to establish Pacesetter Projects Pty Ltd.
The Corser Family’s history in residential building in WA is extensive with John’s Grandfather, Father and Uncle trading as Corser and Sons Homebuilders in the 1950’s, his Father Syd establishing Corser Homes in the 1960’s and then Pacesetter Homes in the 1970s – 2000, owned and managed by three Families.
These Companies formed a reputation for being innovative and efficient producers of homes pioneering the use of the concrete slab in residential construction, being at the forefront of creating display home villages in marketing houses and applying architectural design principles to affordable homes.
Pacesetter Projects takes inspiration from these past Companies and strives to supply innovative and affordable homes for today’s customers.

Phil Edman – Managing Director
Phil has been in the building industry for over 30 years. Phil is a qualified cabinet maker and was awarded Apprentice of the Year in his trade, in 1990. In 1991 Phil formed his own kitchen, laundry and bathroom renovation business, running for over 30 years.
John Corser – Managing Director
John has over 20 years’ experience in residential building and residential land development. He’s been a Director of a family owned building company and a Project Manager and Director for a land development company. John is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Directors.
